Sterile solution containing 800 mg sodium hyaluronate and 1 g sodium CS in 50 ml water with calcium chloride.

Indications

IALURIL ® is used to temporarily replace the GAG layer in the bladder for symptomatic relief from bladder conditions caused by a deficiency in this protective lining including; PBS/IC and cystitis caused by repeat infections, radiation, chemical agents or trauma.

Dosage and Administration

IALURIL ® is administered intravesically as a 50 ml bladder instillation via a catheter. Once residual urine has been removed, instill all of the contents of the syringe and retain in the bladder for a minimum of 30 minutes,

Contraindication

IALURIL ® is contraindicated in those patients with a known hypersensitivity to either sodium hyaluronate or sodium CS. No interactions between IALURIL ® and other medications are  known or have been observed. There have been no studies undertaken on the use of   IALURIL ® in either children, or during pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects

IALURIL ® is composed of naturally occurring compounds that themselves have very low antigenic properties and, as such, no unwanted side effects have been attributed to the product

Drug Interaction

No interactions between IALURIL ® and other medications are known or have been observed.

Pregnancy and Lactation

There have been no studies undertaken on the use of IALURIL ® in either children, or during pregnancy and lactation.

Warning and Precaution

 ® There are no special precautions for the handling of IALURIL
